Clusia rosea
- Common name:- Autograph tree, balsam apple, pitch-apple
- Temperatures:- Between 12°C (54°F) and 30°C (86°F)
- Light levels:- Medium to Good
- Notes:- Clusia rosea is native to the Caribbean, including the Bahamas, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Florida. They are quite quick growing in height as well as width but respond well to a Spring prune. Be carefull though as the sap is a form of latex that is very sticky and difficult to wash off of fabrics. Even though they like good light, try to avoid dirrect sunlight as this bleaches their leaves.
