Living Wall

One of our clients has recently finished refurbishing their latest serviced offices in Camberley and wanted some live planting for one of the office spaces. The brief was not to take up too much floor space, so we have taken NO floor space whatsoever by planting a small living wall...

For this project we used four fibreglass plant portraits colour matched to fit in with the office space and attached to the wall in a square grid. The 'in house' maintenance team fitted these to the wall for us to save us from drilling through water pipes or electric cables. Let's face it we are gardeners not builders...

The plant portrait we used is made from tough watertight fibreglass and can be coloured in most standard RAL colours. The planting up is very simple as the plant pots just drop into the shelves which act as the water resevoir. We used a combination of air filtering plants consisting of various trailing Philodendron and Scindapsus, Chlorophytum, Asplenium and Aglaonema. We think this combination of plants gives a good variety of colour and shape.
